"Helpless" New Single Released

Hey Y'all! I am so excited/nervous to share that I just released my first music single that I wrote titled "Helpless". I stumbled upon songwriting about three years ago and I haven't stopped since. For a while, it was a little secret hobby that I shared only with my family or close friends. I'll be honest, I was quite reluctant to share any of my music publicly because I live in Nashville and it seems, everyone writes songs, or sings or is a musician. And I just happen to live here because its been home to me since I was 12 years old.

But it wasn't until a friend of mine, Mark Evitts, (an insanely talented Grammy winning arranger, producer, composer, musician and so on) volunteered his time and talents on transforming it to something amazing, that I thought I need to share this others. I then, asked my cousin, Paul Phillips, who is also a very talented musician and vocalist, to sing the male vocals so it could be a duet. Then my husband, Denny Mihalek, also a talented musician, lended his guitar solo skills for the finishing touches. I am so proud of this single, because it just goes to show that creating with others just more fun. When we as artists can bring our strengths and passions to the table, its a pretty remarkable thing.
